Berry College Wedding Photographers | Laura + Nate
Laura and Nate gave us the opportunity the once again be Berry College wedding photographers. One of our favorite places to photograph, Berry College is also our Alma Mater. It is wonderful to go back there for weddings.
The ceremony was held in the beautiful Frost Chapel on Mountain Campus and the reception in Ford Dining. It was the perfect afternoon affair.
First Look
Laura and Nate chose to do their first look at the iconic Berry Old Mill. And of course, it was beautiful.
The Corvette in the following picture is Nate’s dream car. A coworker and friend of Laura’s let them borrow it as their get-away car, and we took full advantage. In the following picture, the Corvette is parked on Berry’s Historic Opportunity Drive.
Both Laura and Nate are very athletic, and one of their favorite things to do together is play basketball. We were excited about the opportunity to document that aspect of their lives while in wedding attire.
The Bride
The Groom
Each of Laura’s closest friends brought chalkboard showing where they met/how they know each other. So cute!
Berry College has a rich history, and part of it is these Ford Buildings. Donated by Henry Ford to Berry’s founder Martha Berry, the buildings are known for looking like a castle. They are a mix of admissions, an auditorium, a gym and student dorms. One of the reasons it is fun to be Berry College wedding photographers.
The Ceremony
Instead of having your average flower girls, Laura and Nate stepped out of the box by inviting their grandmothers to be flower girls. These ladies were adorable!
Nate’s reaction when he first sees Laura walking down the aisle.
The Reception
Laura’s friends were key to this wedding, whether it was cutting cake, lighting candles or making sure food got out on time. They were instrumental.
Thank you Laura and Nate for asking us to be a part of your special day!
I would like to know how to purchase Laura and Nate’s wedding and reception pictures taken at Berry College.
